ENDLESS ECHOES: Vietnamese Traditional Performing Arts

SOCIAL MARKETING COMPETITION

For this year’s topic, Peaking Point 4 focuses on three types of Vietnamese traditional performing arts, including Cheo, Tuong & Mua roi nuoc (Water Puppetry). Please note that you can only choose a single type for your campaign.

If your team is not on the list of team registration before 23:59 on April 14th, the Organizing Committee will select and assign a random form of art for each team.

Peaking Point is an annual nationwide Social Marketing contest organised by SIFE RMIT Hanoi Campus. The event is aiming to give opportunities for all students in Vietnam to unleash their creativity in communication & marketing campaigns to solve a contemporary social issue. 

Peaking Point ensures to bring candidates closer to practical knowledge to enhance and advance values ​​for the community. Along with the mission of building and developing a better society, Peaking Point promises to create a fierce marketing race for young people to learn, grow and compete.

Building on the momentum of Season 3's exploration of "Identity Crisis", Peaking Point 4: Endless Echoes invites young Vietnamese to embark on a dynamic exploration of culture in order to reconnect, create, and become future cultural and marketing leaders, fostering a deeper understanding of our heritage and its impact on the world stage.

The workshop "Rise of the Marketing Wave: Reshaping Cultural Touchpoints" highlights the application of Holistic Marketing in the journey of connecting traditional performing arts with young audiences through diverse touchpoints. Through the Workshop, Peaking Point offers a fresh perspective on marketing's profound impact in the new era, thereby encouraging the adoption of creative and holistic marketing in the process of preserving, promoting, and renewing culture.

Combining youthful creativity with hands-on experience, the two Guest Speakers will provide contestants with a comprehensive and insightful view of the topic, while igniting curiosity and passion of the youth for Vietnamese culture through their valuable insights.

1. The PPOC has the rights to adjust the contest regulations such as changing the content and time of activities during the event in case of necessity. If there is a change, candidates will receive a notification from the Organising Committee via email, contest website, and Facebook fanpage. All complaints and inquiries should be directed to [email protected]. The PPOC will respond within 24 hours from the time the team sends the email.

2. The PPOC has complete rights to use the candidates’ entries and projects. Moreover, the PPOC is not responsible for any intellectual property problems.

3. If the PPOC discovers any dishonesty or non-compliance with the rules during the tournament, the results of the team will be cancelled.

4. The PPOC is responsible for keeping the exam confidential, ensuring that the Jury and the Specialty Sponsors do not disclose the contents to unrelated parties; The PPOC is not liable if the test is exposed not resulting from the PPOC’s actions.

5. The PPOC and the SpecialtySponsors own the product copyright of the participating groups.

6. The information provided by the competition team to the PPOC must be complete and valid. Any erroneous information is not the responsibility of the organisation. All disagreements, objections, and inquiries concerning should be emailed to [email protected]. The PPOC’s decision is final if there are any disputes and complaints.

A 3 member team, aged 18 to 25 years old and must be legal Vietnamese citizens. For individually registered candidates, the Peaking Point Organizing Committee will allocate a team.

Each individual can only participate in one team.

Finalists from Peaking Point 2021, Peaking Point 2022, and Peaking Point 2023 are not permitted to register.
Members of the Peaking Point Organizing Committee are not permitted to register.
